(Except for art prep, separations, films) Screen Prep (Emulsing, Burning, and Reclaiming Screens) Determining best screen mesh and ink types to use for various t-shirt fabrics & colors Mixing inks for PMS Color Matches Will set-up and register up to 6 spot color or 4C Process on automatic press (Freedom Express) Tear down of press and reclaiming screens Ability to use manual press on small jobs Counting in garments to reconcile to work orders Make adjustments on fly achieving best quality prints to meet high client expectations Keep up with brisk production schedule & communicate delays with operations mgr Direct and manage temporary low-skill assistants brought in during busy cycles Maintain production notes/records for potential repeat orders.
Communicate technical issues, equipment maintenance or repair needed with outside suppliers / technicians when required Maintain inventory levels of inks, chemicals, & supplies Perform basic maintenance procedures required for any screen print equipment Maintain cleanliness of screen printing area Helping in other areas of fulfillment or apparel production when needed when screen printing is slow or higher priorities in business arise.
